Due to the consistent efforts of local MLA Dr. Bharati Lavekar, the demand of the locals to construct a seawall at Versova beach has been approved. on Dr. Bharati ji’s request the Central Minister Shri. Nitin Gadkari allocated a fund of 35 Crores to PWD through the central government, and the then Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis also made available a fund of 20 crores. The work of the seawall is almost complete and the beautification work will also be completed soon.
