As part of the Smart Railway Station initiative, Jogeshwari (West) Station, located in the Versova Legislative Assembly area, has been designated as a Smart Station. The foundation stone-laying ceremony for this upgrade was conducted virtually by the esteemed Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.

In Mumbai’s push for sustainable infrastructure, seven Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) are being developed across the city and its suburbs, including one in the Versova Legislative Assembly area. The online inauguration of this essential STP was led by the Honorable Prime Minister, reinforcing the government’s commitment to environmental improvements.

Healthcare in the Versova constituency is also receiving a significant boost, with a modern and fully equipped municipal hospital under rapid construction. This state-of-the-art hospital, which will offer enhanced healthcare services to local residents, had its foundation stone laid in an online ceremony presided over by the Honorable Prime Minister.

Additionally, to address traffic congestion, a tender has been approved for the construction of a bridge from Versova to Madh, with work scheduled to commence soon. To further streamline transit, the Bandra to Versova Sea Link project is underway, with about 26% of the construction completed, aiming to ease commutes and reduce travel times from Versova to Mumbai.
